- Starter retinol helps avoid irritation and target the first signs of aging
The ideal Retinol for beginners to introduce your skin to this powerful ingredient. Specially formulated with a slow-release, less irritating form of retinol, this skin-renewing serum targets the first signs of aging and hyperpigmentation. Works to visibly improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and overall skin tone and texture with continued improvement over time.
The hero ingredient, Retinyl Acetate, is a derivative of Vitamin A and works to gently resurface and improve the surface of skin cells, improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. This form of slow-release retinol is specifically chosen as a gentler anti-aging serum alternative. The added Squalane, a key antioxidant ingredient, provides additional moisturizing and soothing benefits while helping to even out the appearance of skin.
If you want to reduce the appearance of post-acne scars, wrinkles and dark spots, once your skin is comfortable with our Retinol Serum, upgrade to the next level with our stronger Scar, Mark and Wrinkle Solution with 1% Retinol .

INKEY tips:
- When layering treatments, we suggest working from the thinnest to the thickest consistency. Waiting a minute or so between applying each treatment will also help avoid pilling.
- If you have more sensitive skin, use Niacinamide before Retinol Serum to reduce irritation.
- Avoid using with AHAs (glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy acid, lactic acid, apple cider vinegar or mandelic acid), BHAs (Beta hydroxy acid or C-50 blemish treatment) or PHA toners. Use on alternate nights
- If you have marks in the form of post-acne scars, dark discoloration or deep wrinkles that cause uneven texture and tone, we suggest trying Scar, Mark and Wrinkle Solution with 1% Retinol.
